When we think of wales for a holiday, we often think snowdonia, the coast and pembrokeshire especially. But mid wales boasts in my opinion, some of the most wonderful scenery, unspoilt and undiscovered!The walking is varied and for everyone, there are cycle trails, canal and railways to see and explore without the crowds.The area has loads of history, castles, forts, roman remains and offas dyke. There are tiny hamlets, market towns and just over the border an hours drive is Chester. The coast at Aberystwyth is just over an hour the other way. Equally llangollen, llanfyllin, Lake Bala and Lake Vynwy and Snowdon are all easy day trips..Come and explore you will not be disappointed!Jackie
